With almost four decades of experience as a teaching professional, Doug brings unmatched golf experience to the golf instruction program at River Valley Ranch. He has competed in over 500 professional tournaments worldwide, including 10 Senior PGA Tour majors, and has been named the Colorado Senior PGA player of the year 7 times and Colorado West Player of the year 10 times. His teaching philosophy is founded in the belief that clear communication and intentional, goal oriented practice is essential for his students to reach their full potential.

For Charlie, he found his perfect fit for his love of golf and a desire for a fresh start in Colorado, at River Valley Ranch. A former college player in Savanah, Georgia, Charlie now works with golfers of all ages to teach them how to play the game of golf. "It's more than just hitting the ball well", he shares. Helping his clients find their game while maintaining a positive and focused approach, are the foundations of his teaching style. To Charlie, his reward comes when clients experience a breakthrough with some aspect of their game and find those magical moments that keep us all coming back to play this incredible game. When he isn't out on course, Charlie enjoys skiing, sharing his contagious smile and working with kids at Buttermilk's ski school.
